Description
Delivered in an elegant gift box, this rectangular vide-poche in first-rate porcelain testifies the fascination that the pastoral literature held for Venetians, giving rise to an on-trend piece among salons in the 18th century. The fine, hand-executed decoration – named “a bersò” in the Venetian dialect – includes a central landscape in bright hues framed by blossoming branches.
